I had the pleasure to photograph Jan and Don Bosson real estate agents a few weeks ago. They are a wonderful and exuberant couple who work together and wanted to get new images for business cards and their web site.

It’s always fun to capture couples and their dynamics together. The challenge comes in having to pose them in a professional fashion that is appropriate for promoting business. Their clothing selection is also important. The colors and styles should nicely harmonize and be subtle and understated.

We did quite a few different poses so they could have plenty of options to choose from at the end. The filmstrip above was designed as a collage including one spontaneous moment from the shoot that ends up reflecting their friendly, engaging personalities.

It’s time to renew your image to promote your business! Presenting your photograph on a business card, brochure, web site or billboard (lucky you!) is a very important message you send along with your service!

I love photographing business portraits! Many people think that it’s just about a smile, but it won’t take me too long to convince you that it’s more than that… It’s about personality!

The standard studio session usually takes about 30 minutes with a couple different clothing selections in front of a background with either artificial or available light. I believe though that the the first 30 minutes is enough to warm you up and make you relaxed. The real results come after that!

Our friend Adam had specific ideas on what he wanted to see for his business advertisement. It’s always very refreshing to work with him! We welcome your suggestions, in fact we encourage you to have input! Teamwork creates even better results!

Shooting promotional photos on location is so much fun and a lot more casual. Peter got to enjoy a session in our beutiful portrait garden.
