Family Portraits at Lake Tahoe

For many years we have enjoyed photographing family portraits, small or large. We usually both shoot at these fun gatherings providing our infamous fusion of different styles.

Lake Tahoe is without a doubt the perfect location for family portraits. From May through November, but even during the winter months we book quite a few of these events usually by the lake. The size of our portrait groups can vary. From three to as many as a hundred people we are always ready to join in and capture the various groupings and candid moments. Our organizational skills really come in handy with a group size of ten or more, especially when there are small children present. Although these are the sessions where we have a little more flexibility with time, we need to consider the patience people have for something like this. So once again, just like during our wedding events we work fast and efficiently to complete the number of groupings and variety of poses. We also like to encourage a more casual, spontaneous style than something too too formal. Eric usually takes care of anything that requires artificial lighting against the lake and Beata in the meantime captures smaller, casual groupings with available light.

We very much enjoy meeting people during these high energy family portraits and learning about their plans and the way they spend their Lake Tahoe vacation. We value the interesting conversations we have with members of the families and the connections we occasionally make for our future business.

The pictures of my family on this website are wonderful. This is by far the best any of us have ever looked! =D
Thank you for photographing us, and for putting some of the gems online! That was a great day, and looking at how happy we all were is a wonderful thing. One can definitely see how many spontaneous and genuinely joyful moments these photos capture.
